INDIVIDUAL COMPETITORS
“Meet adversity with a steady grin.”
Currently, an SCS student athlete is competing as an individual in Independent Swimming.
At SCS students have the opportunity to compete in their given sport within Suffolk County, even when those sports are not offered on campus (as per NYSPHSAA Section XI)*. These students feel a sense of honor while competing in the sport they love. They also boost and broaden school spirit for every athlete.
*NYSPHSAA administers and governs interscholastic athletics in Suffolk County in accordance with the New York State Education Department and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.
